Unichip Q and Q+

That's the beauty of Unichip - it works with your engine management system to offer "live" tuning, controlling turbo boost, idle, fuel delivery, engine timing and more.

As a supplemental (interceptor style) computer hooked in to your vehicle's existing engine management system, Unichip's 'Q' and 'Q+' are the latest and most advanced ECU units available.

Unichip Q has a black 24 pin and a 6 pin connector. Q + is the same as version Q, but has another 16 pin connector with various additional functions. It adds drivers for direct control of things like boost control, solenoids, etc. Your professional engine tuner can advise which version is best for your vehicle and driving requirements.

Once professionally fitted and tuned, Unichip can hold up to 5 different engine maps, so you can set up your engine to deliver more torque for towing, add or reduce boost, adjust octane levels or even add an engine immobiliser. Unichip can also be custom-tuned for dual fuel engines, offering greater LPG performance over the factory tune settings.

That's not all, though. In the rough and tumble of the outback, Unichip also has engine overheating protection, as well as an EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) protection mode. On more modern vehicles with electronic throttle control, Unichip can manipulate throttle response, too.

Unlike other chips or serial downloads, Unichip Q and Q+ can be transferred from one vehicle to another, as well as being updateable, so you can add it (with a firmware upgrade) to your future vehicle, too.
